was reviewed today by The Weblog Review; rated 5 out of 5! Not bad for a novice.
Forgive me for indulging in some self-serving quotes:
Watermark isn’t the typical weblog that gives a moment by moment evaluation of what goes on in our author’s daily life. Instead, it tells her life in a more creative way – through her poetry . . . the author/ creator/ amazing poet, finds ways to write so many different types of poetry about so many different things . . . Sharon’s off to a great start with a weblog that’s only been around since January. Her experiment, as she calls it, is one I hope sticks around for a while.
When Watermark was reviewed at Time Goes By last week, it came at one of my low-energy times, and I did not take the opportunity to really soak in the good words — which I am going to do, and share, now:
What attracted me the first time I visited Watermark is an ethereal quality to the layout of Sharon’s Weblog that pulls me in, when I visit, in a quiet but insistent manner . . . Sharon’s great strength is the very short poem – almost haiku in form . . . [Watermark] is a special place, perhaps of renewal – and we can all use some of that now and again.
These encouragements are very welcome, especially at ebbing times.
