Cat Hating circa 1965

A CAUTIONARY TALE ON THE DANGERS

She: &nbsp&nbsp I hate cats. Cats are evil.

Me: &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Cats are evil?

She:&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Yes. Cats kill babies.

Me: &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Cats kill babies?!?

She:&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Yes. At night, they go to the closet and get dry cleaning bags. Then they drag the plastic bags into cribs and smother babies with them. &nbsp&nbsp I saw it on TV.

  1. I don’t watch T.V., that is factually true. But even if I did I wouldn’t believe it. Even so, I can concur that cats are evil.
I’ll trade you that cat sketch for this dog sketch. and I will raise you one unrelated small poem with sketch.
    thrive!,
    O

  2. I win in this trade . . .
& much appreciate your comments on drawing, which I have done little of in recent years.

  3. And throughout history man has thought cats evil and tried to abolish them – but it never works. And now, cats rule the world.
(Okay – maybe not the world – but they rule my house)

  4. I don’t like cats and I don’t like people with “cat attitudes”! But they are good out in the country for catching mice…
