I’ve been unable to access my favorite Blogspot blogs for a couple of days now; I keep getting a "timed-out" message. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I can read them in Bloglines, but I like to actually go to the sites.
Very frustrating.

I’ve been reading lots of blogspot blogs, have never seen a timeout message. Wonder what that is?

I haven’t had any troubles viewing any blogspots, either. The Blogger folks have a status blog here:
http://status.blogger.com/
It seems there were some things going on awhile back, but that was a week or more ago.
Maybe clearing your browser’s cache might help? -
I cleared my browser’s cache; no difference.
Switched to IE; different error message: “page cannot be displayed.”
I have the problem on both of my computers. I’ll call my ISP tomorrow to see if they have a clue. -
Well, well. I called my ISP, and a poet-tech answered the phone! So while we tried to figure this out, we talked about poetry and she perused some of the blogs I couldn’t get to.
The problem turns out to be a result of my increasing technical sophistication. I downloaded Trillian a few days ago, and it appears to be incompatible with Blogspot.
So Trillian is turned off and I’ll send them a note in the morning. Now I get to go visit some old blogosphere friends! -
Well, at least you got to meet, virtually, a poet-tech. That’s got to be good and rare.

I use trillian, and can load blogspot sites. Seems very bizarre.

I don’t pretend to understand this. I posted a question on the Trillian support forum, but no replies yet.
In the meantime, I just turn off Trillian when I want to read blogs.
Any techies with ideas, feel free to share them.
